Hakuna Matata

Skeptics have often asked whether a person who uses cocain everyday is happy? Are we ecstatic when we are prosperous and can afford eveything? Is happiness a final destination? Not by any means!Hapiness is not when your life fulfills your demands, not when people around you behave as you want them to or when all the possible external conditions are beyond perfect. If we see heedfully, our extraneous surroundings are never really flawless, and if we see more closely,it is temporary enlightment that comes when our needs are satisfied.Once we get what we really want,we are happy for a while and with time,it fades away. Its a matter of time that we come up with our new desires and what next, wait for them to be fulfilled. This cycle is inevitable!

Then is it that true happiness is always temporary? No,true happiness is not interwoven with anything that is not your core self.Real contentment is free from problems. It is only our demise, that will take away all our obstacles and we are caught in a boundless trap while we wait for faultlessness and entireness and we never really realize how our lives turn to dust.Tommorow is an illusion and yesterday is a shout in void, perhaps happiness lies in today! Its the blood and flesh inside me,the breaths that I take and the splendid sun that shines every morning that makes me realize that i have plenty. Thus,I am happy.

Our roller coaster rides are short,so embrace every up and down and live for moments that makes you spellbound.Let our epitaphs read “NO REGRETS”.

  1. Very well written, its so hard to describe happiness, It is so simple yet so complex, sometimes we don’t even know what will make us happy, and some live in the illusion that they’re happy. When you stop seeking for happiness is when you realise that you’re happy with what you have and who you are.

    1. Yes, I totally agree that we cannot seek happiness. When we are free from within, we are happy!
Thank you so much for the appreciation.
